Travis Dodge

Principal Broker

Travis began his career as a freight broker in 2014. Starting from scratch, he built an extremely successful book of business over the last 10 years. Travis has been the top producing broker six years running, and a six time member of the million dollars in sales club.

Travis is laser focused on customer retention by providing unmatched service to current and future clients. He has developed an expansive and dependable network of outstanding carriers and is known for negotiating the best price for clients.

Travis lives in Oakland, California with his wife, two kids and a mutt named Ted. He is slightly obsessed with North Carolina basketball.

Michael Jenkins

General Manager

With over two decades of experience from the software industry, Michael has served on federal industry boards, contributed as a trusted voice within national tax industry organizations, and managed enterprise accounts generating over $100M in combined annual revenue.

As General Manager at Wheelhouse, Michael oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, strategic growth, and team alignment. He’s known for building scalable systems, driving accountability, and raising the standard for excellence across departments. He also leads the company’s implementation of the EOS Traction framework, helping guide Wheelhouse with a clear vision, measurable goals, and a culture of ownership.

When he’s not streamlining logistics, you’ll find him in the mountains of Western North Carolina with his family and two rowdy dogs, Huck and Waylon, leaning into the “outdoorsy” label.

Dmitriy Chichirko

Director of Operations

Freight has always been a part of Dmitriy’s life. Growing up with a Dad who drove trucks for a living, he got an early look at the hard work and dedication it takes to keep things moving. That early exposure turned into a real passion for the industry.

Before joining our team, Dmitriy worked as a dispatcher at a trucking company, learning firsthand how to manage routes, support drivers, and handle the unexpected. For the past five years, He has been right here with us—helping customers move freight efficiently, finding solutions when challenges pop up, and keeping things running smoothly day in and day out.

What drives Dmitriy is simple: building strong relationships, solving problems, and doing right by the people we work with. Whether it’s a tight deadline or a tricky shipment, he is the one you want in your corner.

When not working, Dmitriy enjoys life in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains with his wife and dog—soaking up the outdoors, enjoying the quiet, and recharging for whatever the next day brings.

Michelle Morris

Controller

With 25 years of accounting experience, Michelle has demonstrated a remarkable ability to manage and optimize financial operations across a broad spectrum of profitability, ranging from $150,000 to $500 million annually. She is highly proficient in quote to cash processes and excels in cash flow forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.

Michelle is a wiz at preparing accurate and timely financial statements for leadership and lenders, as well as comprehensive quarterly and annual reports. Her expertise in internal controls further underscores her commitment to financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Michelle lives with her husband in Western North Carolina. In her spare time, she enjoys embroidery and playing the piano.

Dan Gallagher

Sales Leader

Dan began his career in sales in 2002 and has spent the last two decades building teams, refining strategies, and leading from the front. In 2025, he transitioned into freight full-time to bring a modern, relationship-driven approach to logistics. Dan is the architect behind Wheelhouse’s sales strategy, blending personal video, social selling, and structured outreach to scale meaningful customer connections.

He is passionate about coaching, storytelling, and building trust one conversation at a time. Dan works closely with the operations team and SDRs to ensure the entire Wheelhouse experience – from first contact to final mile – feels seamless and human.

Dan lives in Northern California with his wife, 4 kids and dog, Frank. He’s a lifelong Giants fan and is always up for a hike in the Sierras.

James Smith

Regional Sales

With almost two decades driving sales and fostering client relationships, James is a seasoned sales specialist renowned for delivering exceptional results. Known for a custom approach and a keen understanding of his clients needs, James excels in crafting tailored solutions that help his customers achieve success. He simply gets the job done.

James is passionate about building trust and delivering value, and his expertise spans various industries from finance to tax to shipping.

When not closing deals, James enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

Ted Dodge

Warehouse Dog

Ted juggles a seemingly endless list of responsibilities including official morale booster, office sentinel, chief snack seeker, and wellness coach – always encouraging wellness breaks and walks, and of course a biiiiig stretch now and again. He spends the majority of the day conversely defending us from the mailman and napping. His good natured attitude is unmatched.
